Originally from the United Kingdom, Dr Macbeth trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London. He then undertook specialist training in Australia in Tasmania and Queensland, and finally trained in pelvic floor surgery at the QEII in Brisbane.

Dr Macbeth chose obstetrics and gynaecology because he found it a really positive and rewarding experience, particularly when sharing the joy of a new baby’s birth.

Dr Macbeth’s special interests include: High risk pregnancy, general gynaecology, minimal access surgery, menopause, prolapse repair, incontinence surgery and infertility.

Dr Macbeth is the Director of Bayside Obstetrics and Gynaecology, located at Mater Health Centre Redland and operates at Mater Private Hospital Redland.
